Ministry Opportunity

Located in the suburban neighbourhood of North Kildonan in Winnipeg, MB, Douglas Mennonite Church (douglasmc.ca) is currently seeking an Intentional Interim Transitional Pastor, grounded in a personal faith that aligns with the Anabaptist tradition and with the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective (1995), and who would have the demonstrated skills, experience, training, will, energy, and competencies to shepherd the congregation through a period of transition and transformation as it works at rebuilding and regenerating. Douglas Mennonite Church is connected to other Mennonite congregations in Manitoba and across Canada through the denominational structures of Mennonite Church Manitoba and Mennonite Church Canada.

In addition to providing spiritual leadership, the Intentional Interim Transitional Pastor will work with the congregation in facilitating a healthy transition from its current state to a future state that is yet to be defined. This includes helping the congregation to stop and reflect on issues around vision, mission, values, and structures. It is under the leadership of an experienced and effective Intentional Interim Transitional Pastor that Douglas Mennonite Church will best be able to prepare for and to transition to a renewed vision and mission.
